A bitchin’ team

Dave Kindig
Dave has led the field with his unique skills and vision to craft truly one-of-a-kind customs. They say car design is an art form with few real masters, but from concept and design to build and the finished product, what Dave Kindig does is not just restoring these rides. With his concepts and vision, keeping to the classic lines, and the help of his Kindig-it Design team, these rides are built, improved, and modernized to reflect the best version they can be.
When asked what Dave’s favorite build is, his answer is, “The next one.” To Dave, each component of Kindig-it Design, these rides, the process, and getting to know the clients and the attachment they have to these works of art allows him to approach each part of Kindig-it with fresh eyes. To him, this is not just work. He feels fortunate to be able to wake up every day, pursue his dream, and do what he loves with the people he loves. Beside him in pursuing this dream are his wife Charity, daughter Baylee, and son Drew, making this truly a family business. More than that, the team beside him at Kindig-it Design contributes to that family dynamic.
So grab the “Oh Shit” handle and put on your seatbelt as Dave and the crew continue to turn out some of the most Bitchin’ Rides out there.

Charity Kindig
Whether it’s behind the scenes or in plain view, co-founder of the acclaimed business, wife of Dave Kindig, and mother of the two, Charity Kindig is the glue holding everything together.
Oh, and did we mention she’s a die-hard car girl too? Well, we figured that was a given.
A star in her own right, Charity has been interested in cars since she was a little girl. With a father who was a hot rodder and car club member and a mother who was certainly a fan of classic cars herself, Charity grew up knowing all about the hot rodder passion.
Charity’s first car was her beloved ’67 Chevelle Malibu that she and her father built together. With the coolest car in the parking lot, Charity and her friends enjoyed cruising State Street in the Chevelle and frequenting dance clubs. It was at one of these clubs that she met the love of her life, Dave Kindig.
As a young car enthusiast, Charity delved into the automotive hobby on the work front as well, claiming a parts-runner job at a local automotive shop. Once there, she worked her way up the ranks, eventually becoming a manager and overseeing the warehouse.
After the aftermarket shop, her next automotive job was as co-owner of Kindig-it Design. For years, the thought of opening a custom shop was deeply seeded in Dave Kindig’s mind. He had been working out of the couple’s garage on various projects for family and friends and wanted to take his passion for building and turn it into a full-time job.
Charity was all for it, telling Dave that once their youngest child was born, he could quit his job and build a business of his own. It was just six weeks after the couple’s youngest child, Drew, was born that Dave quit his job, ready for the next adventure.
Charity has taken her role in the company to great heights. Not only is she co-owner of the company, but she’s also the vice president, overseeing just about every part of the company.

Baylee Kindig
Born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah, Baylee grew up around the shop before Kindig-it Design was even officially a business. By the time she was three, Kindig-it Design was officially up and running, making cars and the shop a part of her life from the very beginning. She always knew she wanted to be part of the family business while finding her own creative lane through social media, graphic design, and marketing.
Baylee built her Photoshop and design skills through YouTube, trial and error, and plenty of hands-on experience. While she may not have her dad’s drawing abilities, she developed a creative style all her own.
She officially joined the company in 2012 at 16 years old as a parts runner. After graduating high school early, she moved into the front receptionist role, which eventually grew into website management, merchandising, social media, graphic design, and marketing.
Today, Baylee serves as Chief Marketing Officer, managing the company’s websites and social media, developing merchandise, creating graphics, traveling to events, and making sure every finished car looks its best on camera.
One of her proudest accomplishments is helping grow Kindig-it Apparel into a recognizable brand. She also loves working with the team, partners, and vendors that make up the shop’s “big family energy.” (Yes, I wrote this. Yes, it’s weird talking in third person.)

Kevin Schiele
Kevin Schiele has worked for Kindig-it Design since 2004 and runs our 27,000 sq ft shop. He has an unparalleled passion for the industry and has spent many long hours in the shop making sure that every build is just right. From the start to the finish of each build, he is there.
Kevin specializes in chassis and suspension but is truly a jack of all trades. He is also Kindig-it Design’s Mother Trucker and can be seen on the highways of America, cruising around in the Kindig-it Rig heading to and from the next big show.
He is a proud member of Severed Ties Truck Club, the Salt Lake Chapter, and has personally built four over-the-top custom sports trucks and is working on number five.
Kevin is 6’2”, enjoys long walks on the beach, boating, and sea turtles.

Will Lockwood
Will grew up on hot rod magazines and started playing with RC cars at age 11. Will took vocational classes in auto body and mechanics that saved him in high school, and he used that training to work on Abrams tanks in the Army during Operation Desert Storm.
Once out of the Army, Will started at HPC in 1992 where he met Dave Kindig. When Dave said he was opening his own shop and needed help getting his drawings off the wall and into reality, he asked Will to come along.
Starting with the company in 2003, Will is still excited to push the envelope with each new build.

Brandon Jones
Brandon is originally from West Valley, Utah, and chills up north in Ogden now. His laid-back wife, kick-ass son, beautiful daughter, and two awesome Pitbulls make up the rest of the family.
Brandon’s passion in the auto industry started at a young age. He has been customizing and building rides for many years. Joining the Kindig-it crew back in 2010 as a Body Man gave him a chance to work with longtime friends KevDogg and Dave.
Brandon’s focus is still on bodywork, but he will also regularly step into other roles of the business as needed to keep the builds on track. Every build he has been a part of offers something new and is revered as another accomplishment.
Brandon feels that this is the best shop to work for, and there is no other place he would rather be. In his spare time, you can spot him on his custom Harley or in the garage spending quality time with his rides.
Brandon is a low-key guy with a love of good work and good beer.

Eric Larsen
Eric grew up in St. George, UT, then moved to SLC in 2006 for a change of pace and to explore new opportunities.
He began his metal fabrication career in various ornamental iron shops and customized motorcycles from home. He has made many art pieces housed in galleries around the country and city.
In 2013, an opportunity arose to join the Kindig-it team as part of the GM Futurliner crew. He specializes in metal shaping, precision welding, and fiberglass.
After work, you will find him working late on his vintage vans and motorcycles with the help of his two dogs and a wonderful girlfriend. Eric loves spending time with the team at Kindig-it, both in and out of the shop.

Jason Pringle
Born and raised in Salt Lake City, Jason has been around custom vehicles most of his life—from his dad’s cars to mini trucks with friends. Most of what he knows came from watching others, getting hands-on, and figuring things out in the garage or driveway.
Jason’s history with Kindig-it Design goes back to around 2000, when Dave first asked him to come work nights at the shop. He spent about two years helping with wiring, fabrication, and assembly before moving on. In 2013, Dave called him back to help build the Futurliner, and Jason has been part of the team ever since.
Over the years, Jason has worked in fabrication, assembly, door handles, parts, and even managed the assembly side of the shop for more than two years. Today, he serves as Parts Manager, overseeing parts purchasing and organization while also helping Charity with various office responsibilities.
His work has touched everything from windows and fine-detail pieces to Corvette hardtops. Two of his favorite builds are the 1955 Nomad and the Mercedes Gullwing.
Outside of work, Jason enjoys spending time with his family and working on his own projects. What does he enjoy most about Kindig-it Design? That the company feels more like a family than just a group of employees.

Greg Hebard
Originally from Detroit, Michigan, Greg’s interest in fabrication and design started while building choppers with friends in college. That hands-on experience, combined with working around machinery and composites throughout high school and college, helped shape his path into custom automotive work.
Greg joined Kindig-it Design in 2015 after Eric Larsen put in a good word for him. He started as a Metal Fabricator and gradually began incorporating more technology into his work wherever it made sense.
Today, Greg serves as Design Engineer and Machine Shop Manager, overseeing CNC machining, 3D printing, CF1 design, and parts production. His work covers a wide range of components, including lights, trim, emblems, sheet metal, windows, suspension pieces, and interior parts.
Outside of work, Greg enjoys mountaineering and whitewater rafting. What does he enjoy most about Kindig-it Design? The variety of the work and the opportunity to tackle something different from one project to the next.

Brian Gull
Born and raised in Salt Lake City, Brian’s path into the automotive world started with a simple love of nice cars. Right out of high school, he began an apprenticeship at a body shop and started building the skills that would turn into a lifelong career.
Brian joined Kindig-it Design in 2014 after hearing about the shop through a friend. He applied, interviewed with Dave, and got the job.
Today, Brian works as a Body Man and Assistant Manager, handling exterior bodywork, polishing, and helping keep the Body Shop team on track—with the unofficial title of “team morale officer” thrown in as well.
When it comes to projects he’s proud of, Brian says it’s hard to choose just one. “TwelveAir” stands out, but more than anything, he takes pride in being able to execute the team’s craft at the highest level on every car that comes through the shop.
Outside of work, Brian enjoys astronomy and astrophotography, the art of bonsai, and camping and fishing with his family. What does he enjoy most about Kindig-it Design? “Being able to work at the highest level in the industry with exceptionally talented people.”

Javier Lopez
Javier was born and raised in Mexico. As soon as he moved to the United States, he started working on cars, mainly as a body man for the last 25+ years.
He has been happily married to his wife Marybelle. They have 2 beautiful daughters and 2 wonderful grandkids.
Javier was introduced to Dave through a mutual friend and began helping part-time until he was able to join the Kindig-it family full-time in May 2016. Javier is responsible for the amazing cutting and polishing of our slick paint jobs.
He has loved working at Kindig-it, where everyone treats each other like family. Javier hopes to stay here for many years to come building badass cars!

Kyler Bench
Originally from St. George, Utah, Kyler’s interest in custom cars started in high school when he rebuilt a 1979 Ford Bronco. That project sparked a love for rebuilding vehicles and custom work, and he continued building his skills through welding and collision classes.
Kyler joined Kindig-it Design in 2019 after a family friend told him about an opening in the door handle department. He tried out for the position, got the job, and started out building door handles on his own. As the department grew, Kyler eventually became the manager before moving into transport and parts running alongside Kevin.
That experience eventually led to an opportunity to join the CF1 team, where Kyler now helps build the CF1s from the ground up. His work includes fabricating bumperettes, headlight bezels, and many other custom components throughout the CF1.
Outside of work, Kyler enjoys going to the gym, golfing, and working on Harleys. What does he enjoy most about Kindig-it Design? “I love being around our people and the amazing cars we build.”

Hallie Watkins
Originally from Tehachapi, California, Hallie moved to Salt Lake City in 2015 to support her husband, Pete, as he chased his dreams.
Before joining Kindig-it Design, Hallie spent five years in the veterinary industry as a hospital manager. Even then, she was no stranger to the shop, helping at events, traveling to shows, and lending a hand whenever she could.
In January 2020, Hallie officially joined the Kindig-it Design team. After years of being the unofficial helper, she became the official one—bringing her organized, efficient, no-BS approach to Dave’s increasingly busy schedule.
Today, Hallie wears many hats, combining her background in business and operations with her passion for cars. From executive assistant duties to HR and everything in between, she helps keep the chaos organized.
Outside of work, Hallie enjoys spending time with Pete and their daughter, Mila, paddle boarding, cooking, and baking from scratch. Cooking is her love language and baking is her stress relief—so if she shows up with homemade treats, the guys immediately wonder what happened.
She also appreciates a good glass of wine... so if you’re looking to bribe her, that’s probably a good place to start.

Mark "Legend" Lavery
Locally born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah, Mark started at Kindig-it Design in February of 2021.
Prior to killing it at making our door handles, Mark was laying tile for his cousin’s business. He always had a passion for the artistic side of the automotive industry and fell in love with it at a young age.
Teaching himself about cars and welding, he branched out and became a part of our team. When not making our door handles, Mark enjoys building custom motorcycles and playing the guitar.

Drew Kindig
Being a Kindig, Drew was pretty much born and raised at the shop. So it was only a matter of time and a rite of passage before Drew joined the team.
From an early age, Drew has been interested in all things metal fabrication. Prior to busting out some Bitchin’ door handles, Drew worked at Boeing building the 787-10 tail wings. How badass is that?! But when he got the chance to work here at the shop, he jumped.
When not slinging out some of our iconic door handles, Drew enjoys spending time and going on adventures with his wife Kara.

Chris Cormican
Originally from Madison, Wisconsin, Chris moved to Salt Lake City for a change of scenery. A friend mentioned we were hiring, and well, the stars aligned! Chris has been with Kindig-it Design since April of 2021 and has loved it ever since.
Before coming to work at Kindig-it, Chris was the Body Shop Manager for a rather large transportation company in Madison. He got his start in the industry when he was just four years old, going to work with his dad, who worked in a body shop.
Chris is proud to be a part of the team here at Kindig-it, but more proud of his accomplishment of being a father to his daughter Marley.
When not sanding, priming, and painting some beautiful rides here, Chris enjoys camping, hiking, off-roading, fishing, and pretty much all the great outdoors has to offer.

Kenny Bledsoe
Kenny is originally from Herriman, Utah, so when we placed a local ad looking to expand our team, his decision to apply was quite easy. He started with us in July of 2021 with the support of his beautiful wife, Pam, and kids, Ashlee, Brianna, Chelsee, and Brody.
When not killing it in the Assembly area here at Kindig-it Design, Kenny is either exploring the great outdoors with his family, golfing, or shocker, working on cars!

Shannon Bennett
Shannon, being originally from Sulphur Springs, West Virginia, moved out to Salt Lake City, Utah to be closer to his brother and sister-in-law.
When he saw that we had a job opening, he took a leap of faith and applied, joining our team in August of 2021.
Shannon has a background in collision repair and was the head painter at a repair shop for three years prior to coming to Kindig-it Design.
He loves working at Kindig-it Design. He’s able to wake up every day and do what he loves doing, surrounded by coworkers that are like family.
When not working away at his dream job, Shannon enjoys cruising around town, going to car shows, working on his personal builds, hitting some balls at the baseball cages, and spending time with his family.

Ira Myrick
Originally from Patterson, California, Ira’s passion for cars started with his older brother, who was always into engines and horsepower. Wanting to follow in his footsteps, Ira quickly became hooked on hot rods and muscle cars—a natural fit growing up around California car culture.
Ira took welding and auto shop classes in high school, but much of his experience came from late nights restoring his own cars. With basic tools, a drop light, and plenty of improvising, he learned how to problem-solve and get the job done.
In 2019, Ira came to Kindig-it Design for a paint class and asked if he could try out for a position. He started as a metal fabricator and eventually became the CF1 Fabrication Manager, a role and program that remains especially meaningful to him.
Today, Ira serves as the Metal Shop Manager, overseeing the fabrication team, tracking hours, and helping keep builds on schedule and on budget. He also works closely with the other department heads to keep work flowing throughout the shop.
Outside of work, Ira enjoys spending time with his family and pets, exploring Utah, working on his own cars, and hunting for the next project. What does he love most about Kindig-it Design? “Every day building a custom car is a challenge. You have to be on your game. It’s exciting, and I love problem-solving.”

Joseph Hauswald
Originally from Sergeant Bluff, Iowa, Joseph grew up in a car-loving family, attending Goodguys shows with their 1960 Ford Starliner. His interest really took off after helping modify a brand-new 2010 Mustang with exhaust and intake upgrades. Seeing how much a car could be transformed in both performance and appearance made him realize he wanted to build custom cars for a living.
In high school, Joseph restored a 1995 Ford Mustang with his parents, completing a full color change, custom graphics, and a V6-to-5.0L V8 swap. He later earned associate degrees in Automotive Technology and Auto Body & Collision Repair from Western Iowa Tech Community College. While there, he helped build three SEMA vehicles, including a twin-turbo 1966 Chevy C10 that made the Top 40 in Battle of the Builders in 2017.
Joseph’s path to Kindig-it started with a shop tour in 2021. Later that year at SEMA, he brought his resume to a Dave and Kevin signing, which eventually led to a one-week tryout. In 2022, he officially landed what he still calls his dream job.
He started by prepping and smoothing engines, suspension, and drivetrain components before moving into full bodywork. Today, Joseph handles metal prep, bodywork, priming, and paint preparation on major parts and bodies. He’s especially proud of his work on the Ridler-winning TwelveAir and his first full build as a body tech, the Killer Bee.
Outside of work, Joseph enjoys off-roading in his 4Runner, car shows, racing, guitar, reading, museums, and volunteering with the Natural History Museum of Utah on fossil preparation and field excavations. His favorite part of Kindig-it Design? The people he works with.
‍

Jake Gregory
Originally from Park City, Utah, Jake’s interest in the automotive world started with a love for 1970s Ford trucks. That interest eventually led him toward a career in fabrication and hands-on metalwork.
Jake spent a year studying mechanical engineering before deciding to take a more hands-on route. He switched to trade school, where he earned an associate degree in welding and fabrication, then built experience working at several different fabrication shops.
In 2022, Jake joined Kindig-it Design after deciding he wanted to move into the custom car and restoration industry. Today, he works as a Metal Fabricator, handling everything from rust repair and custom sheet metal to automotive plumbing, bumper and frame modifications, and aluminum welding.
One of Jake’s favorite projects has been the Porsche 356A. Outside of work, he enjoys general welding and fabrication projects of his own, as well as building his 1974 Ford F-250.
What does he enjoy most about Kindig-it Design? Getting the opportunity to build one-of-a-kind vehicles.

Kyle Kolke
Originally from Streetsboro, Ohio, Kyle’s interest in cars started in the early 2000s watching Powerblock TV on Spike TV. From there, he learned by building his own cars, making mistakes, and figuring things out the hard way. He also attended Maplewood Career Center and the University of Northwestern Ohio.
Kyle joined Kindig-it Design in 2023 after watching the show and thinking Utah looked like a pretty good place to take a chance. As he puts it, “You miss 100% of the shots you don’t take.”
Today, Kyle works in Final Assembly, specializing in wiring, calibrations, drivability, and systems diagnosis. His work includes engine and transmission calibrations along with making sure the vehicle’s systems perform the way they should.
One of his proudest projects is the 2024 Ridler-winning TwelveAir.
Outside of work, Kyle enjoys downhill mountain biking, camping, traveling, and driving his project cars. What does he enjoy most about Kindig-it Design? The constant challenge of working in an evolving industry and helping push toward the leading edge.

Niel Sjoberg
Originally from Boise, Idaho, Neil came to us in April of 2023. Like a true car lovin’ guy, he was born to love them. Neil’s dad started to show him how to weld at age four. Yes, he was kept safe and didn’t stare directly into the light. He started out with mini trucks and progressed from there.
Before coming to work for us, Neil dabbled in RVs and worked at parts stores.
When not working, Neil enjoys drifting and desert truck stuff.

Jasper Eves
Hailing from Salt Lake City, Utah, Jasper discovered his passion for craftsmanship as one of the head fabricators for West High School’s robotics team. This early experience ignited his love for building and problem-solving, setting him on a path toward a career in custom fabrication.
After graduating high school, Jasper spent the summer taking every course offered by the Kindig Academy. By winter, he visited the shop to collect his certificates, where Dave personally offered him the opportunity for a test week—and he earned the job.
Jasper officially joined Kindig-it Design in January 2024. Now, he’s part of the CF1 department, focusing on intricate under-dash components for prefitment, along with fabricating trim and other custom pieces.
Outside of work, Jasper enjoys cars, music, and video games. As for his time at Kindig-it Design? Jasper says, “I love every second!”

Nick Tipton
Originally from Troy, Illinois, Nick found his way into the automotive world at 17 after meeting his wife and her dad, who was building cars at his shop. With no real idea what he wanted to do yet, he was handed a sanding block and told to get to work. He’s been sanding cars ever since—and found a career he genuinely enjoys.
Nick has taken metal shaping, welding, body, and paint classes, but much of what he knows has come from learning alongside other craftsmen and plenty of trial and error.
In 2024, Nick was working at a smaller restoration shop when he saw an opening at Kindig-it Design. He decided to take the leap, leave everything behind, and head to Utah for a new opportunity.
Today, Nick works in the Body Shop, taking bare-metal bodies through the prep and finishing process until they’re ready for paint. He typically tackles areas like roofs, hoods, trunk lids, and the lower front and rear sections while the rest of the team works the sides. One of his favorite projects so far has been the custom orange 1969 Camaro, where he helped the team get the body lines clean and crisp.
Outside of work, Nick enjoys hunting, fishing, hiking, and just about anything outdoors. What does he enjoy most about Kindig-it Design? “Getting the opportunity to build some of the baddest cars in the industry with a group of super talented people I can continue to learn from.”

Sean Schwagler
Originally from Washington state, Sean’s interest in cars started while working on his first car with his dad. That early experience turned into a lifelong passion for building and working on vehicles.
Sean attended trade school for collision repair and started working in a body shop at just 16 years old. After years as a car builder and enthusiast, he decided he wanted to get back to the western side of the country. Kindig-it builds had always impressed him, so he took a chance, sent in his resume, and joined the team in December 2024.
Today, Sean works as an Assembly Tech, handling final assembly, mechanical repairs, adjustments, sheet metal installation, panel fitment, suspension setup, and trim components. One of his favorite projects so far has been the 1957 Oldsmobile—simply because, in his words, “That car is badass!”
Outside of work, Sean enjoys camping, hunting, BBQing, and just plain relaxing. What does he enjoy most about Kindig-it Design? “The peeps are amazing, and the builds can be challenging but over the top.”

Cody Patterson
Originally from Mountain Home, Arkansas, Cody’s interest in fabrication started young, working alongside his dad and learning how to shape and build with metal.
He later attended welding college at DATC and spent 13 years building sand cars and roll cages. Along the way, he also worked as a millwright and has spent more than 25 years creating metal art—experience that helped turn fabrication into both a skill and a passion.
Cody joined Kindig-it Design in 2025, feeling like much of his career had been preparing him for the opportunity. With a love for sculpting metal, he wanted the chance to do it at the highest level.
Today, Cody works as a Metal Fabricator and has enjoyed getting his hands on just about every part of the process so far. One of his favorite projects has been the 1977 Ferrari 288 GTO.
Outside of work, Cody enjoys spending time with Stacey and Abigail, hunting, fishing, exploring, and being outdoors. What does he enjoy most about Kindig-it Design? Working alongside professionals whose skill continues to impress him every day.
‍

Julio Rosa
Originally from Los Angeles, California, Julio’s love for cars started early. He grew up surrounded by toy and model cars, helped his dad work on the family vehicles, and was fascinated by watching family friends and neighbors wrench on cars. He even used to repaint his Hot Wheels with his mom’s nail polish.
Julio built his career in the collision industry, working his way from entry-level detailer to body technician. Most of his training came hands-on, learning from experienced technicians, on-the-job experience, and plenty of self-teaching.
After years in collision repair, Julio wanted to move into restoration and classic cars. Having lived in Utah since he was eight and knowing Kindig-it Design from the show, he saw an opening in 2025 and decided it was time to make the move.
Today, Julio works in the Body & Paint Department, handling polishing, prep work, and smaller bodywork when needed. His job is to bring the paintwork to its final finish, polishing everything from the body and engine bay to panels, hinges, brake calipers, and other painted components.
Outside of work, Julio enjoys camping, riding side-by-sides, fishing with his wife, restoring his own cars, and watching football. He and his wife are also expecting a baby girl in September 2026. What does he enjoy most about Kindig-it Design? Working on one-of-a-kind vehicles and watching them go from a drawing to a finished work of art.

Christian Paustell
Originally from Loveland, Colorado, Christian moved to Utah as a child and grew up near the Kindig-it Design shop. Seeing the custom cars around the area sparked an early interest and a dream of one day being part of the team.
His hands-on interest started even earlier with his grandfather, who owned motorcycles and would completely disassemble them to clean and polish every part. That attention to detail stuck with Christian.
In 2025, Christian was looking through the Kindig-it Design website when his wife encouraged him to apply. He came in as a tryout, started in Final Assembly, and eventually moved into the Body Shop.
Today, Christian works in Paint Preparation, prepping parts and panels for paint and spraying epoxy on body and drivetrain components. For him, simply becoming part of the Kindig-it team is one of his proudest accomplishments.
Outside of work, Christian spends his time working on his Datsuns. What does he enjoy most about Kindig-it Design? Getting to see every stage of the custom build process come together.

Channing Filler
Originally from Woods Cross, Utah, Channing came to Kindig-it Design while looking for another dream job and a chance to use his machining skills in the custom automotive world.
Much of Channing’s experience has been self-taught, supported by online classes and plenty of hands-on learning. In 2025, he took a chance and emailed his resume to Kindig-it Design—and landed the opportunity he was looking for.
Today, Channing works as a CAD/CAM Programmer and Machinist, designing and machining one-off custom parts used throughout the cars from front to rear.
What does he enjoy most about Kindig-it Design? Getting to create unique, one-off pieces for some seriously cool cars and trucks.
‍

Sarah Woudenberg
Originally from Ogden, Utah, Sarah’s interest in fabrication took off after her first trip to SEMA, where she saw a custom exhaust being built for a Lamborghini. From that point on, building exhaust systems became a goal. Her interest in sheet metal grew even more after someone described it as “learning a dark art”—and she decided she wanted to learn the magic.
Sarah attended Ogden Applied Technology College for welding and got her start fabricating parts for side-by-sides. In 2025, her friend Joel from Overkill recognized her potential and helped connect her with Kindig-it Design, leading to an interview and a spot on the team.
Today, Sarah works in Metal Fabrication, with exhaust work being one of her specialties. One project she’s especially proud of is the exhaust on the 1977 Ford F-150.
Outside of work, Sarah enjoys hanging out with her dogs. What does she enjoy most about Kindig-it Design? Being able to constantly learn, sharpen her skills, and take on new challenges.

Alfa Romeo Kindig
Alfie was born in Logan, Utah, and is now settled in Salt Lake City as Kindig-it Design’s cutest employee since July 2020. Alfie specializes in observing the showroom’s operations, naps, and the art of being a good boy.
When asked what his favorite part of working at Kindig-it Design is, he replies, “Woof,” which translates to treats.
Alfie can be seen roaming the front office with Charity and Baylee, barking at every employee, but mostly KevDogg. Unanimously, we are happy to have Alfie as part of the team. Having him here ensures no one has a rough day.
